THE GREYTON SPRINGS TREE MONSTER

THIS SITE WILL BE UPDATED AS MY RESEARCH CONTINUES! Last Updated: 3/12/2022

Throughout the past decade or so, citizens of Greyton Springs, Oregon have been reporting strange figures in the distant forest. This site will be used to document and research these sightings. Over time, these sightings have gained various names, such as "The Greyton Springs Tree Monster" (the most popular name, though some omit the tree part), "The Greyton Tree Demon", and "Redwood Devil", among others.

Most sightings are tossed to the side, explained as "just hikers", or "just a tree stump"...

BUT IN FACT, THERE IS STRONG EVIDENCE TOWARDS THE EXISTENCE OF THE GREYTON TREE MONSTER!

PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE, ARTIST INTERPRETATIONS

"TREE DEVIL" INTERPRETATION

BELOW IS AN IMAGE WIDELY BELIEVED TO BE THE GRETYON MONSTER.
This image is a zoomed in photograph from a motion detecting trail camera, set up by an anonymous hiker. The photo was captured at 4:31 AM, on the 14th of January 2010.

This image is believed to be one of the only authentic photos of the monster, and is where it got the title of "Tree Monster". From the photo, it almost resembles the bottom half of an extremely gnarled tree. HOWEVER, some claim that it allegedly looks very different from this, citing artist interpretations and eyewitness.

"RED MASK" INTERPRETATION

The artist of the above picture (who has asked to remain anonymous from their original post) claims of a figure with a face made of plastic, with pinprick black eyes, no mouth, and a blocky, geometric nose. This is also how many people describe it in encounters. Because of its different look, it is at odds with the trail camera photo. Because of this conflicting appearance, many suspect that multiple different creatures exist in the forests of Greyton Springs, or that the masked figures are tied to cult conspiracy. Some suggest that the masked figures are simply a group of pranksters with cheap plastic masks.

This is about all I've got for now, but I'll keep posted if I learn anything new.
